A Teacher's Accident.
He waved his teacher goodbye & got in the backseat of his mother's car. As he took one last glance back, he saw a copy of the Term Essay he just handed to her fly to the car's windshield. His teacher was thrown off the ground, the stack of papers she held floating in space. He couldn't understand what had happened in less than 30 seconds.
They say people go through perils and live to tell the tale. She lived alright, but not to tell the tale. She had no memory of that day. Let alone any other day.
